Shelf Life Tips

  • Keep refrigerated and tightly wrapped in plastic or aluminum wrap.
  • Before cooking, salt cod needs to be soaked in water for at least 24 hours to remove the excess salt - the soaking cod may be kept in the refrigerator for up to 3 days before cooking (water should be changed periodically).
